Jaguar XJS Junior

Is your kid an executive in training or set to inherit the family fortune?  Jaguar came up with an option for kids who were simply too good for any old Power Wheels. This brochure from 1989 highlights the details of the Junior-sized Jaguar XJS.  It reads:

Behind the tinted perspex windscreen with its polished surround, the wood veneer dashboard reflects the control-centre of the full scale model.  For passenger comfort, a stereo radio cassette with door-mounted speakers is set into the centre console.  A battery charging point is located under the filler cap. The switches for the working headlights, tail-lights and indicators are also mounted in the dashboard. Impressions of the high intensity fog lamps and reversing lamps are fitted front and rear.

The luxury of Jaguar interiors is world-famous and we are proud to say that, despite the reduced proportions of the XJS Junior, as far as comfort is concerned no half-measures have been taken.  The twin seats have fixed head-rests and are deeply upholstered in genuine, colour-matched Connolly's leather to coordinate with the leather covered door panels and the carpeting throughout.

Skillfully crafted and thoughtfully designed for the 'early-learner' driver, the Jaguar XJS Junior is more than just a toy - it's a step in the right direction.
