Winter Wash

One of the perks of the mild weather this winter has been my ability to wash my car regularly without the fear of my doors freezing shut.  It only happened once last year, but still.  A regular washing is especially important around this time of year as there's always a lot of salt on the roads around here.

After my drive to Regina over New Year's weekend you could see just how badly the salt was caked onto the sides of my car.  My washing regiment is pretty straightforward, but I find a simple wax spray does a decent job of keeping the salt from sticking.  Of course, the best solution is to stay diligent about removing it when it appears.  My car may be 13 years old, but after a good clean the paint certainly doesn't look it.
