One interesting point of cross promotion happened in 2000, when Sting made a deal with Jaguar to showcase his new single, Desert Rose with the new Jaguar S-Type. He had actually used the car in his music video and the team behind the production thought it also promoted the vehicle. They sent Jaguar a few clips and they were just as excited by the proposal.
